What Is Microdose KAP + EMDR?

Microdose KAP + EMDR combines the therapeutic benefits of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy with EMDR in a more gradual, lower-dose approach.

This can be a powerful option for clients who want to explore ketamine-assisted therapy while continuing to work directly with the experiences, patterns, and beliefs they are ready to process through EMDR.

Rather than separating these approaches, we can thoughtfully integrate them into your treatment, using each modality to support the other.

Why Combine Microdose KAP and EMDR?

EMDR can help process experiences that continue to influence how you think, feel, and respond, while ketamine may create greater flexibility in the way you experience thoughts, emotions, and familiar patterns.

Together, these approaches can offer another pathway for clients who feel stuck or who have found themselves circling the same patterns despite significant therapeutic work.

How It Works

Your treatment begins with preparation, where we establish a foundation of safety, explore your goals, and determine how EMDR and ketamine may best support your individual process.

For each session, you take a smaller dose of your prescribed ketamine and, as the effects begin, we simultaneously engage in EMDR. The combination allows you to remain more grounded and present while accessing memories, emotions, sensations, and patterns that may otherwise feel difficult to process.

Sessions are  90 minutes, giving us time to prepare, move through the EMDR and ketamine-assisted work, and begin integrating what emerges.

I partner with Journey Clinical for the medical component of your care. Their medical team evaluates whether ketamine is appropriate for you and manages the prescription and medical oversight, while I provide the psychotherapy and guide you through the EMDR, ketamine-assisted, and integration work.

Is KAP Right For You?

KAP isn't right for everyone, and determining whether it is appropriate begins with a medical evaluation.

It may be worth exploring if you:

Feel stuck despite previous therapy

Have persistent depression or anxiety

Are working through trauma or PTSD

Feel disconnected from yourself or your emotions

Want to explore patterns that feel difficult to shift through traditional therapy

Are looking for a different way to engage with your healing

The Journey Clinical medical team will review your health and psychiatric history and determine whether KAP is medically appropriate for you.

Microdose KAP + EMDR With Me

My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and tailored to you.

I draw from EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, somatic work, movement, breathwork, and guided visualization to support both the mind and body throughout the process.

The goal isn't simply to feel different during a session. It's to create meaningful change that you can carry with you beyond it.

The goal isn't simply to feel different during a session. It's to create meaningful change that you can carry with you beyond it.

Together, we work with the deeper patterns that shape your emotional, physical, and relational experience—so change becomes something you experience, not just something you understand.
