FAQs

I offer both in-person and online sessions. While I prefer working in person, I’ve found that therapy can be highly effective in either format. Together, we can choose the setting that feels most supportive and practical for you.

Because I have many types of offerings, it is hard to state one price. Pricing depends on session length and what type of service you are requesting. As a general, prices range from $285-385.

I am no longer accepting new clients using insurance. All sessions are now private pay. You may however be eligible for reimbursement for our sessions if you have out-of-network benefits. To determine if your plan offers out-of-network reimbursement for mental health services, here are some questions you can ask your provider:
What is my coverage for out-of-network providers?
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician to see a mental health professional?
Do I need pre-approval from my insurance company before I can see a mental health professional?
What is my yearly maximum benefit (dollar amount or number of visits)?
Is there a deductible?
If you do have out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a Superbill every month that you can submit to your insurance to get reimbursed.

I typically recommend beginning with weekly 90-minute sessions. The additional time allows us to go deeper into the work and helps create momentum, so you can begin to make meaningful progress rather than feeling like therapy is moving slowly. As we progress, we can revisit the frequency and determine what feels most appropriate for your needs and goals.

Yes! I would be happy to talk for 15-20 minutes for free to assess what you are looking for in therapy, what you seek in a therapist and to assess our fit. Choosing a therapist that you feel connected and comfortable with is critically important so please choose the best therapist for you.
